I have worked in the medical field for 25 plus yrs in one capacity or another.
I originally come from England and moved to IL in 1998 . I have worked in many different areas of health care including, pediatrics, adolescents, general population, elderly, hospice and special needs.
I Currently I work on an Oncology unit , and run my massage buisness , I feel there is a place for eastern and western medicine to work together for whole health care .
I have had an interest in alternative treatments for as long as I can remember and it was always part of my life, as I grew up in England. My Grandmother had Reflexology, Homeopathy and Acupuncture for her arthritic knees and swore by them.
I am pleased to see that Alternative treatments are being accepted more and more alongside western medicine here in the states.
Being able to work alongside other medical and alternative professionals is a great asset to your whole health & well being .
I trained in Illinois for my Massage Certificate.
I then went on to take my National Board Certification in Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), which allowed me to become a License Massage Therapist (CMT), in both IL and WI.. In addition to adult massage.
I am also trained as an Infant Massage therapist, & Certified Infant Massage Instructor, (CIMI) Reflexologist , Aromatherapist , Herbalist .
My concentrations are to find massage and alternative treatments for Medical Condition's ,such as arthritis , MS , fibromyalgia etc , Orthopedic , Oncology ,Pregnancy & Relaxation.

My Mission for YOU!
I believe that everyone has different needs and no two people need the same type of massage. I treat each client as an individual, taking into account factors such as medical history, activity levels, stress levels, occupation and personality in determining the best course of treatment. My treatments are integrated, utilizing the various techniques I've been trained in, according to what I find. I am constantly changing and adapting throughout the session, in direct response to your body’s needs and your feedback.
Even when I am giving a spa type treatment .
The reason behind this is based on my desire to treat the entire body, while including specific work on areas requiring it. A regular full body massage typically takes an hour. I will always try to give the added attention to the various areas needs, while still giving a full body massage.
Mission
Massage is NOT a luxury but a necessity to balance out what we do to our bodies on a daily basis. My goal is to make massage affordable so that people can get them more often and truly benefit from what massage can offer.
